dirkus777 Posts: 1 Joined: 5/2/2006 Status: offline	Migrate fronpage web site to another server - 5/2/2006 15:30:52 I want to know if I can copy a frontpage web site with extensions to another web server. Can I copy/move site without RE-Publishing the site. I want to bring up a new server with new hardware. I want to move web site with frontpage extensions. I am currently running IIS 5.0 on Win 2000 server. I want to copy my current web site to a new Web server running IIS 6.0 on Win 2003. Is this technically possible? Or do I have to Publish current site to CD or other location.

Since it uses a URL you'll have to Publish it to your local machine, then change the DNS settings for the domain name, then re-publish to the new site... _____________________________ In order to remove a wall you must first remove the Windows® (in reply to dirkus777)
