For those of you who don't have Firefox web developer extension installed (you really should get it - it's wonderful!) here's another way to test browser resolutions without actually changing your resolution:

I suppose it'd be useful for testing in other browsers even if you have FF and the web developer toolbar.

Shame on you Womble, have you forgotten the Web Accessibility Toolbar for IE, you can resize your browser window with that in IE.
