allezzam -> Server object error 'ASP 0178 : 80070005' (5/8/2006 14:19:09) I inherited a IIS 5 web on Win2k and I'm trying to set up database results pages. Setup goes well, but when I try to access them this is the error I get: Server object error 'ASP 0178 : 80070005' Server.CreateObject Access Error /_fpclass/fpdbrgn1.inc, line 333 The call to Server.CreateObject failed while checking permissions. Access is denied to this object. This is the contents of line 333: set fp_conn = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")[/size] I've spent hours on this. Any help is greatly appreciated. I've re registered DLLs and checked lots of permissions...HELP!

allezzam -> RE: Server object error 'ASP 0178 : 80070005' (5/9/2006 12:37:31) Thanks spooky. I had seen and checked this reference to no avail. I did, however find the solution. The local user that is being used in the properties of the web for the anonymous browser, (Iusr_servername, found by going into the security tab in the web properties and editing the anonymous browser) didn't have the proper permissions in Front page extensions. after I added the user, and added it to the proper roles, and made sure that it had the necessary NTFS permissions in the web, it worked fine. Thanks!
