Its nice to drop in and see so many old faces still here. I'm happy to see the OutFront community thriving :)
I've stopped by because I am looking to hire a freelance graphics artist to create some specific texture files for me. They are for a 3D online game, so some some experience with Poser or rendering of textures on polygons would be nice - but to be perfectly clear, I am *not* looking for exotic Poser files, just plain old flat BMP files.
Specifically, I need someone with better PhotoShop, GIMP or PSP skills than me to develop a set of hair textures with specific lighting effects. I can send you an example ZIP file of what I started with, where I've got so far and what my goal is. Your ability to use dodge and burn tools way better than I can is probably the key here!
What's really critically important is that the end result not compromise anyone's copyright in any way. Therefore, the options are creating your own base hair texture from scratch or from a base texture I give you. You may not sample off Google images, Renderosity or any other source material that is not specifically in the public domain.
This gig is on a "work for hire" basis, meaning the copyright shifts to me on payment, which I can make via PayPal. I am looking for textures in a set of 8 or 10 to create a complete hair color set from blonde to black, and am 100% OK with all hair colours being rendered from the same base file, so I don't think its that much work.
