jrteeter -> server extension issue with frontpage (5/28/2006 20:34:42)

hello,

i run a website for my theatre company at www.breadandwatertheatre.org and normally publish my site to the web as it allows me to use borders, forms, etc created with frontpage.

well i try publishing last week and it keeps giving me this message:

1.unable to open 'http://www.breadandwatertheatre.org'.
server error
possible causes:
1. the web server may not have the frontpage server extensions installed.
2. the web server may be temporarily out of service
3. if you are connecting through a proxy server, the proxy settings may be incorrect
4. an error may have occurred in the web server

if this server does not support the frontage server extensions, frontapage may still be able to publish to the server via FTP.

I've done a bunch of different things to fix this...deleted part of the site...overwritten files and everything but it won't let me publish. i can however publish via ftp but i lose my form stuff.

does anyone have a suggestion...and if you need to check out my site:

Call your host and ask them to repair the FP server extensions.

Take care,

Brian
