Anyone have a copy of PAS78 and do you find it useful or just covering the ground we already cover? I'm happy to pay the £30 if it's useful.

Nah I'm waaay too cheap!

Maybe we accessibility divas should club together and buy a copy that we can all get at? We can then release snippets of it on this forum and thus make ourselves sound sage and knowledgable beyond our years...

One of the reasons I haven't bothered much is that it seemed to be aimed at the commissioners of sites (probably big sites) rather than developers.

Good idea Tail.

I was going to get it when it first came out, but in the online ordering thing, despite it being £30, it kept coming up as £60 and I was too lazy to phone and order it instead so I didn't bother in the end. :)

I was reading an article the other day in .net mag though that said that designers/developers really do need to be up to speed on what's in it.

Your local library shoould be able to get it for you, but of course copying (the whole thing) would be out of the question. At £30 (sure that's not the members' price?) it really is quite cheap for a British Standard :) and you could legitimately claim it as a business expense.
