DataNumen -> Please review the first page of our website (6/9/2006 10:19:19)
We ask a web design company to redesign our website www.datanumen.com. And after we pay them the advance payment, the company provides several samples for the first page, as follows:
Could you please give us some suggestions, reviews or comments on these samples and revisions? Thank all of you in advance.

Not sure what you're after here but I prefer the last one, sample07.1.jpg, and they're all more interesting than your current site.
Other than that there's not a lot I can say based on just a graphic. Are you worried about what they're charging you or something else?

this is a situation most people on here find themselves in..not your spot but the designers... they are trying to give yo usome options so you can pick a "look" that satisfies you - while we are happy to help, the fact is that this is the moment where you have to focus on appearance and decide... what color schemes do you have in stationary, signage, logo etc?

Sample 7 is the best one, but tell them to get rid of that bitstream cliché. I mean the 110001010011000100 background in the title. The globe stuff, too, it's also cliché. They don't help your company stand out.
Point your web designer to some good stock photo resource, something similar to Veer (but of course something less expensive than $400 per image).
