You have 2–4.5 seconds to make your visitor clear what the site is about. I think the page is currently lacking in that crucial aspect. Just by briefly looking at the homepage, I have no idea what your website is trying to tell/do/contain.

I have to agree. Although it looks very professional, I too had no idea what it was about...and it took forever to load - and I'm on broadband. Also, having music on a site without any warning or a way to switch it off is never a good idea.

An understatement: your site never completely loaded for me on dial-up.

While the guy in the mirror is obviously your most favorite person in the whole wide world, the overblown narcissistic site theme will doubtless cause most visitors to click out.

well the fist off the site has been around for a while and this is the first time i have ever heard about it taking long to load on broadband.....my suggesstion...change your isp.:) thanks for the feeds never the less:)

For the purpose of them that do not know what the site is about...basically it is a blog...but not really i do a once monthly update and i feature creative art...graphic designz as well as new and interesting people......but mostly it is for my friends to know whats up with me etc and given the 500+ site views that i get a day i doubt they would be clicking out anytime soon!!

Man, I think you did a great job. The layout is nice and it does look professional. It loaded up for me (DSL) in just under 1 minute.

754k is quite a lot! though at least (on broadband) you get some of the content before it all finishes loading, for a personal site that's ok-ish. otherwise looks good if not a bit egocentric - but hey it's a personal site! ;)

FYI it loaded instantly for me.

Since it is a personal site it should reflect your personality and I appears that it does that. Nice job with the swish.
