i dig it... i like the color scheme and of course i had to click on miami and it was good....[:D]

BUT i see no doctype... which means its not valid.. did you check to see if it looked right in all browsers I can only see it in IE here....

Thanks for pointing that out , guys ! When I worked on it, I would just test in IE and FF, both seem to look fine, so ... I gues I will look into those errors and try to get them fixed :)

It seems to be looking ok in FF- something odd happening in IE7. When the pages first open the menu shoots off to the left for a while then eventually goes back where it should be. I think it's to do with the way IE "writes" the page (I think reflow is the correct term). It all ends up in the right place but it's disconcerting for a while.

It's looking pretty good in FF too*, though as Curious Monkey says, you've got a lot of errors coming up, which may or may not cause you problems. It's always easier to iron out any display problems cross-browser if you're using a doctype and valid code, so I'd get that fixed.

One thing I really don't like, and I know you have to make money, is the huge banner add at the top of the page on the home page. It really spoils the effect. It doesn't seem quite so bad on most of the other pages. Maybe aesthetically they'd be better at the bottom of the page above the footer info?

Thanks for the feed back, will work on getting it fixed. I'm not sure what that IE7 thing is about, I'll look at that as well :)

Anyone having problems loading chat ? I am , but my machine tends to act funny sometimes , when it comes to the server. Usually, I just have to clear cache, and I'm good to go - but not this time. I'd like to know if there is actually a problem, before I trouble shoot the script : ) ? Thanks !

Now this is a really attractive website. I love it how the ads don't interfere with the rest of the site. The color scheme is interesting and inviting.

I wouldn't center it vertically, though, just put a 25px margin at the top. People are not used to seeing things vertically centered in their browser window, so they get the feeling the content is way off at the bottom.

Normally, for me, light text on a dark background (except black and actually, sometimes even black) sucks.

I usually want to leave a site that is difficult (for me) to read.

But yours works for some reason, although a dark background still messes with my brain.

Light on dark may “suck”, but sometimes it's the only way to convey a certain visual message. It's also unique. See Lealea.
