Yep, I don't think it stands out from other directories at all. When I navigate to a directory with 14 catagories and 67 subcatagories it makes me want to run away. It's too busy. The Yahoo News thing at the bottom detracts. In addition, many directories like that are simply bulletin boards for advertizers and they look just like yours. And they rarely are what I'm looking for. Look at Google's home page. Clean and very little challenge for the eyes and brain. It's like they say, "Hello" softly, take your hand gently, give you a rum and coke and then lead you inside after you've had time to get a buzz and relax. To have the subcatagories on the home page might be what the high brains in your business recommend, I don't know. It's well organized, as it's obviously intended to be. It's just that I think content before feel loses out. It's like: Make me comfortable and glad I'm there before you start your sales presentation. Again, maybe the facts don't support that. I'm just one person.
