I deleted companyweb in IIS :( - 6/21/2006 8:22:24
Hey,

Was wondering if you guys could help me. Don't ask me why, but I deleted the companyweb web site from IIS and I want to get it back... I haven't deleted the folder off C drive so all the stuff is still there, it's just off IIS. I've tried to recreate it but can't get it on the default TCP port (80) because it says it's being used by Default Web Site - I'm pretty sure companyweb was using port 80 before. How do I get it back to the way it was? Any help would be appreciated - thanks!

It's possible you were using a virtual web? Right click the Default website and add a virtual site, pointing it to the folder. Otherwise you could add a new website by right-clicking the Website folder, and select a different port ,just make sure you specify the host headers properly
