If you need to run IIS on your local machine to test db connections and what not, you will need to buy Windows XP Pro rather than XP Home. Hi Scott! I think that MS Knowledge Base Article might be somewhat misleading........ Look here first..... PWS can be installed on XP Home but is not supported by MS. See here.... http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q310/0/90.ASP Internet Information Services (IIS 5.1) is included with XP Home but you have to install it from the CD.
