eula and licenses - 6/25/2006 22:54:26
Does anybody know if i can switch the license i have for a frontpage 2003 from one laptop to another. My son has a new laptop and our frontpage is going to be done on that computer. Can i switch it from one to another?

Do i have to activate it over the phone or can i just hit activate in help. I tried to remove it and i don't know if i got it all gone. Some registry keys are still there. Would i have to contact Micro and tell them i want it by phone. Thanks for the help.

Depends on the license - some can run on 2.
Ultimately - try it, register over the net and as a last resort phone the details through.

worst case you just call and tell them you've uninstalled it from the old machine and reinstalled it on the new one.

I did this countless times at my last job with the one license of FP 2002 they let us buy...
