I have been struggling to build a web page that is "obedient" to several browser types.

There is one thing I've been trying to do that has escaped me.

How do I place a graphic at the top of my webpages (to appear on all pages)using CSS. I need the rest of the contents of the page to scroll under (and disappear)the top graphic on the page.

I could use a frame, but I'm trying to stay away from those.

Can anyone help me?

The only way to do that is with frames. If you don't want to use frames, you'll need to let it scroll.
