Edge -> RE: #top in Opera (6/28/2006 13:40:28)

I am not exactly sure what you are asking. First, let me say I am using FP2003. When I want a link at the bottom of the page that says "Top", I would highlight the word "Top" and set up a hyperlink by typing in #top (see photo below). In IE and FF, clicking on the hyperlink will take you to the top of the page without setting any special bookmark. But this does not work for Opera. Here is a page that works in both IE and FF: http://www.bennygordon.us/archives/release_062006_old.htm [image]http://www.edgesz28.com/edgesz28/pictures/misc/top.jpg[/image] So as I built the page, I went to the top and named a bookmark called "toppage". Then I set up the hyperlink using the named bookmarks (see photo below). Here is the page that now works in all three browswers: http://www.bennygordon.us/archives/release_062806.htm [image]http://www.edgesz28.com/edgesz28/pictures/misc/toppage.jpg[/image] When I view the source of the "toppage" page, I see the name="" you were talking about. I do not see anything like that when I just typed #top into the hyperlink address. But like I said earlier, it works in both IE and FF, just not Opera. </head>
