swoosh -> RE: How to click to desktop on XP? (7/3/2006 11:36:10) right click on the Taskbar and choose Properties ...... select "show quick launch". That should give you the quick launch toolbar down on your taskbar next to the start button, which should have a desktop icon on it. Is this what you were referring to?
