Nice effect but a bit impractical if you look at the code - you have to work out the incremental image sizes in pixels for each image. Ok if they are all they same size but a night mare if they are not. Also because the "zoom" effect can't be stopped at an intermediate level there is no real advantage over just going from a thumbnail to a big image. Bit of a gimmick IMHO.

You're right Donkey - it is a bit of a gimmick. Most of his stuff is and he freely admits the same. It's just a cool example of what you can do with CSS - not terrribly practical, but none the less, cool.
