The vocals were a bit indistinct; he needs to enunciate properly and they need to adjust the balance so you can hear him. I heard the words CSS and web standards but the rest was just a mishmash of crooning.

Nice idea though is there an album? Some of the tracks could be "The wind beneath my Doctypes" "You're so Accessible" "Rollover Navigation" "Validate me Baby" "Dig that crazy XML" "Hit me with your coding stick" "Perl wasn't a singer"

...it really is a foreign language we speak isn't it! Who apart from a web designer would have a clue what he's singing about.

On a similar note, I was trying to explain the other night to the other half about how I'm learning a new way of designing, trying to explain tables and CSS layout, oh my, I gave up after about 30 seconds

Well I did my best but I am listening on a laptop speaker so I might have more luck on the good ones tomorrow. Any words I couldn't make out are starred.

[edit] I listened again this morning and I think I got it. There's one line, just before the bit about MS Word I'm not sure about

All together now.....

quote:

Supervisor rants
and says his web site's pants
I want my clicks improved by Friday

I hit the URL
It's like the bowels of hell
God give me strength
It's just a nightmare

So raise your hands
To the light and pray
That we can fix this web site today

Tonight I need your css
coding in the darkness
From now on no more tables nest
You will meet web standards

This source code makes me weep
There's tables fifteen deep
In Netscape 6 it looks like garbage

we'll never save this turd
It's built with MS Word
With every click I find new carnage

So raise your hands
To the light and pray
That we can fix this web site today

Tonight I need your css
coding in the darkness
From now on no more tables nest
You will meet web standards

Tonight I need your css
coding in the darkness
From now on no more tables nest
You will meet web standards

I guess I'll have to start from scratch
Then I can kiss this piece of trash
Goodbye
Goodbye

Tonight I need your css
coding in the darkness
From now on no more tables nest
You will meet web standards

Tonight I need your css
coding in the darkness
From now on no more tables nest
You will meet web standards
