Hello all, I'm here to get some feedback on my web-site, I'm a TV and print designer that decided to take my skills a little further. I have gotten comments from none graphic and none web hip friends of mine and it has been positive but I need comments from webers who do this every day for me to know if I am on the right track. I have designed 2 other sites, one for a business and the other for a friend and they were very happy. So this is my first time so be honest but gentle.

Carl, you have some sweet looking pages. Personally I would have made the page listings clickable in the menus instead of using the number legend and clickable numbers. I would have added some bullets next to the links that show on mouse over too that would help indicate it's a link. Would have done the same on the index page links too.

Visually I think it's superb.

Ok, cool, can u do a mouse over in frontpage without using a hover button, I will be changing the site at some point.

Not directly as a function or FrontPage, but a little javascript can go a long way. I'm lazy (and or stupid) so I bought jbots to do the hard work. But you can do it for free. Check this out....

And you might just do a search for "mouse over" here on this forum for more tips.

SWEEEET is right! You wanted to know if you're on the right track? How 'bout you're out in front leading the train? I know 'cause I'm watching from the caboose

Great work, this.

Some great looking designs to your work and your pages load quickly. Nice background. one question though - why have you introduced a blue background on your resume 'professional experience page'. To me it breaks the general warm earthy feel to the rest of the site.

Yeah, a very nice site indeed. I really like the artistic expressions. You are very talented. It is a bit small though and may be a bit tough to read for some people.

Fabulous site. Incredible portfolio. Makes me want to retire from the profession.
Question - is there a trick in creating the subtle stripes, or did you just draw them?

Carl - ditto on the awesome artistic touch! Love the professional appearance. One thing I couldn't quite adjust to 'tho was not being able to click on the menu items (ie., under the Resume page link there are 4 choices listed - I'm determined to make one of those click! Why make me go up to the 1-4 numbers at the top? I think someone else mentioned this so maybe you're working on that - other than that, great job!
