C'mon now. If you look at the details, this just seems so biased to me. Did you read the details and what "IE" actually means here? quote:
There are three families of web browsers shown here by default: IE, Firefox, and Opera. IE includes Microsoft Internet Explorer for Windows, Maxthon, Netscape in "I Trust This Site" or Internet Explorer mode, Avant Browser, AOL Browser, and other browsers that use the Trident rendering engine.... AOL Browser as well? No wonder the numbers a re so bad!![:'(] No real detail is ever discussed about the weighting and how he actually comes to the conclusiomn that IE supports 85% of the img tag and FF supports 99% of it. What part of the img tag does IE *not* support? [&:] That is silly (at best) IMO and who is this guy stating all these numbers. I'm sure there are some facts that these results are based on but they are not revealed nor discussed. Besides, support 100% standards is not the end-all of a web site (again IMO) anyways. Many items in these lists are relatively obscure and only useful in unique situations. Also, there are things outside the standards realm that are included by browsers. For instance, innerHTML is not in the W3C standards but yet both IE and FF support it. Why is that? 'Cause it's usefull that's why. [;)]
