Opera and Email - 7/10/2006 12:45:46
Been playing around with Opera and noticed that when I click on an Email link (i.e. "Email the Webmaster"), it wants me to set up an account.

With IE and FF, the email program already on my machine starts automatically and I can send an Email like normal.

What the heck is Opera trying to do, and is there a way to prevent it from asking to set up an account?

Thanks, Ed

Funny you mention that. My OH installed Opera 9 and he's getting the same thing, amongst other weird and wonderfuls that have started playing up.

You having any strange happenings with Flash?

look in Tools > preferences, then pick the ADVANCED tab, find 'programs' on the left choose edit, action , open with default mail app.
