Window not "maximising" - 7/17/2006 19:46:31
Now this happens often to me, but it's never that much of a problem, so I usually just forget about it.

I use a 1280x1024 monitor and every now and then I notice that the window isn't "maximised", but is just a few millimetres smaller all around. I just select to maximise and it fixes it until next time I happen to notice it which may be the same day, the next day or the next week?

What causes this?

Nicole

Nicole,

Are you referring to IE?

Do you have the icon property to run as "Normal Window" or "Maximized"

I've just changed:

tools>>Options>>content>> "allow scripts to move or resize existing window. I've unchecked that box, see if it happens now, but it might be a week until it happens again.

Right click on the icon you use to run FF and select properties....there is a run window that is set to "normal" by default which remembers last window size you had but if you select "maximized" it opens up maximized all the time.......In theory anyways :)
