Nice Tooltip... - 7/24/2006 21:38:17
...found this nice tooltip script today, typically on the day I wrap up a site which has caused enormous problems at various stages using the tooltip feature.

http://boxover.swazz.org/

quote:

What is BoxOver?

BoxOver uses javascript / DHTML to show tooltips on a website. Implementation of the tooltips, however, requires no knowledge of DHTML or javascript. Move your mouse over the items below to see examples.
Plain | Fade | Delay | Custom CSS | Fixed position | Click to display

You can use combinations of the above as well.
- BoxOver is free and distributed under the GNU license - If you wish to use it in a commercial product please link back to http://boxover.swazz.org and acknowledge it's use somewhere - If you would like to contribute please link back to this page so that I can make BoxOver the most popular tooltip available Enjoy!

I found it while searching for solutions to problems I've noticed with the tooltip I'm using on a client's site not working in IE5.0 and partially working in IE5.5

So it would seem from the forums at this site that they've found a solution to that problem, meaning that this boxover script works in those browser versions.
