Flash Document Doesn't Print - 7/27/2006 13:04:41
Has Anyone Successfully gotten Flash documents to print?
I have designed some flash documents. They're basically pictures with fading quotes.
When you go to print the webpage, everything prints, but leaves a big white spot where the flash should be.

You could always have a static image in a div which you hide on the normal screen but have visible on a print stylesheet.
Even with that it's the users' option whether they print images or not so there's no guarantee that it will print.

Hmm... I normally work in Firefox, and the last post confused me. Firefox won't print the flash, so I checked IE.
IE will print it, but Firefox won't.
I've read that You can try using a #p on the frame that you want printed. So...after the fade in you have a stop on the last frame add the #p in the frame label box in the properties inspector.
has anyone tried this before?
