Dave, if email viruses are getting through, make sure your virus checker has an email scan option and that it's actually turned on. If not, I can recommend Bit Defender which has an auto update facility, a firewall and scans all your mail for you. It's not expensive either and their support, on the odd occasion one of my clients had needed to use them, has been very good. They've recently added trojan checkers but I still run my standalones alongside and to date nothing has got through.

They're a family run company and there's a live chat/help on their web site.

yep it's turned on. though i did reinstall so they might have slipped through when it (antivirus) was out of action temporarily ;)

Ewido report is clean, HJT looks clean. Will you re-run a panda scan for me?

The only issue you have is with the window display, right? Found in your uploaded screenshot.

Does this happen on every window? If not, please give me an idea of the windows/programs you see this issue.

[sm=icon_redface.gif] having trouble setting my IE to accept the site as a trusted site or to run active x. says it alreadt in another zone and i'm f****d if i cna work it out. crappy ie b****ks. anyway when i have i'll post. bene busy doing some work so i'll get round to this when i can :)
