Yesterday I restored a FrontPage web from a back-up server. The files were restored okay, but the navigation structure disappeared, so I had to reconstruct it page by page - over 300 of them. Is there a way of restoring / copying a web whilst keeping the navigation structure in tact?

The only way I know to keep things in tact is to use the publish feature in FP. How did you restore your web? Swirl ------------------ Diplomacy is the art of letting someone have your way.

Did you import your backup into the original instead of publishing from the backup? Aaaah! I restored it just by doing a copy and paste, which overwrote the old web. It didn't occur to me to 'publish' it back in. Oh well - I'll know for next time. Thanks guys. Phil
