What I don't understand is how do I start to convert my homepage to CSS using Frontpage. Can I take my basic page design and save it as a CSS template. Do I have to manually write the code and save it? Rick

I'll start with one word......... Don't! FrontPage is not css friendly. You have options. 1. learn HTML and CSS and then either use an editor which is css firendly (there's a list of them in Hints and Tips) or use the FP code editor in conjunction with Preview and stay away from the design tab 2. Download a copy of Expression Web designer beta from the MS web site. It's the replacement for FrontPage and uses css for design. Whichever way you go, you won't be able to just press a button and have it all convert. I suggest you rebuild the site a page at a time. Once you have one working, the others will be easier as you'll already have your stylesheet set up ready to include. You'll still have to manually go through and remove all the stuff FP has thrown in though. If it's any help. I did a 500 page site and it took me 5 weeks. The css for styles and layout took me a week (but I hand coded, Expressions will be faster) the rest was cleaning up all the FP rubbish. _____________________________ If it ain't broke..... fix it until it is. Then load your pages into the program and use the search and replace feature to test out replacement of your fonts first. Before you do this, do as Jaybee has suggested, search and learn css first. You can start with the font styles as they are the easiest to work with, and most likely will elimate a good deal of code. read through here, there are tons of links to great information regarding how to learn css and where to go to find answers to things along with what is listed in here. And just an aside, if you google frontpage and css You will find a good deal of information regarding the usage of css with frontpage. There are also a few threads in here on how to work with css and fp.
