problem with searching on google - 8/7/2006 0:34:26
I have a search I need to make in google but the keyword I'm searching has ~ in it twice and these are not recognised by google. I understand ~ has a role in advanced searching but is there a way to seach a keyword with ~ included in the search? I have tried "this" and +this but no luck and I seem to have no idea how to get ~ included in searches if its possible at all. annoying since thats pretty cruitial to the search

I guess not many people need to seach something like that though? or am I being a complete idiot?

I don't believe you can search for a ~tilda in google. http://www.marketingshift.com/2006/3/google-special-character-search-string.cfm But, maybe someone else will tell us otherwise?

Google's page show how to do special character things, but it uses the tilda
