While working on a site for a client, I discovered 2 great pieces of software recently. We wanted to put part of the DVD he is selling on the web site for people to preview. The 1st is called Platinum Ripper and with it you can specify segments of your material to grab from DVD in any format. (Even step it down for podcasting) The second is from Swish that converts your video to flash automatically for you. The result very fast creation of flash movies.
Before anybody starts hammering away, notice I said his DVD that he created and is selling. An instructional video that he created. I am not condoning copying of commercial video.
