What is this, and do I need it? - 11/5/2001 23:41:00
Frontpage sticks this in my <head> section. Can I delete it, or does it need to be there?<meta name="ProgId" content="FrontPage.Editor.Document"> Thanks.

I keep trying to delete it and then Bill Gates comes sneaking into my office while I'm upstairs watching MSNBC and puts it back (along with that other line about generator). How the heck do you get rid of it permanently? SHOO Bill!!

The tools for the page options let you get rid of it for all new pages. BUT I don't get rid of it instead I use the search and replace function for all the pages in a web to (for example) turn off smart tags. I kind of like the poetic justice of turning their own weapons against them
