Can this be realized by CSS - 8/11/2006 3:30:59
Just found this tree-like menu. I wonder can this be made by CSS.

Yes, there's an example of one here but you'll need to play with it quite a bit to get it to look pretty. He may have some others on there that do something similar too.

Many thanks!

But I already know this sample. It's very hard to solve the sub-menu onclick issue. Finally I got this this app to solve this problem.

Sothink menus are fine as are Allweb and others but just be aware of the possible problems.

This is what you get if you have javascript turned on in your browser.

I'd use Javascript for this too - but one that would degrade gracefully to an "all open" state - like this one:

http://www.tjkdesign.com/articles/toggle_elements.asp Which is semantically correct - being a list or this one:

http://www.projectseven.com/csslab/swapclass/outline/ Which uses headings. I don't see why you can't have a list in there instead of a paragraph.

Amazing lists! But I think some menu generator will help me make the menu more efficiently.

Compared with CSS,I always prefer Javascripts menu. By Javacripts, we can realize so many dynamic effects. Of course, I will build an alternate way to navigate my site when the JS option is disabled.
