It's definitely going to make life easier in the long term once we no longer have to support IE6.

Currently however I still support IE5 (when I say support I mean that IE5 gets the same looking page as modern browsers rather than unstyled content which NN4 and IE4 get) which is around 10 years old - so it may be a while before we can relax completely!!

(still narked about the background image zooming problem mainly because it affects my site. How's that for being selfish!)

No, it's not just you. I've got the same problem.

Helena are you up for some testing for me? I've finally had to bite the bullet as a client wants a fly out vertical nav and I want compliant/accessible/noscript/keyboard. I've spent all day hammering away at it and I think I'm nearly there. Just a few more tweaks.

It seems to work OK in all the usual culprits but it'll need your eye for details to make sure I've covered all the bases as well as your copy of IE7 and Safari. [:D]

PS. The tester gets a free copy if it works OK and she wants one.
