PHP? - 8/23/2006 13:36:40
I've played around with EWD but not as much as I would like - seems fine and an improvement on FP2003 but the handling of PHP appears quite the same unless (hopefully) I'm missing something?

On a side note, why did they give it such a long name, gonna look terrible on two lines in a text menu!

Cheers
Andy

No you haven't missed anything. When Microsoft buy out PHP et al then it'll be supported, till then, whistle!

I'm hoping that 3rd parties will be able to write extensions for EWD much the same as DW. Please throw cold water on my face if you think I'm dreaming.

I picked up a sniff on the MS EWD board that PHP might be supported in the next CTP or final version.
EWD is an awsome tool but without php support a massive market will be missed!

I just can't believe that MS coders didn't think about PHP. What were they thinking?

Do you think they are trying to push people to the asp.net platform?:)
