I took it home, installed it with absolutely no problems whatsoever. Next day I switched on and spent the rest of the week rebuilding the machine. Got on to the McAfee helpline at the cost of an arm and a leg, explained, they did some checks, walked me through a re-install. I spent the rest of the week rebuilding the machine. When they offered to walk me through the install again I told them what they could do with their product. It was absolutely the most secure thing I've ever used. It stopped the machine dead in its tracks. I have avoided McAfee like the plague ever since. As for NIS, I get more problems, complaints and questions from people with that on their machines than anything else and you try fully uninstalling the darn thing.
