Publishing Query - 8/26/2006 21:29:44
My website address is as follows: www.gene-watson.com I have a query with regard to my website logo, which appears at the top of each & every page within the site. Well, that's the idea! The logo appears on most pages (the 'home page', for instance), but it does not appear on the 'vinyl 45" singles discography' page for some strange reason. When I right-click on the logo on the 'home page', the location properties is correct. However, when I right-click on the logo on the 'vinyl 45" singles discography' page, the properties are are incorrect. The location here is 'pointing' to my flash memory key, which is where I upload my site from. I have cleared the cache & refreshed my browser, but this has not helped me. This is not a 'local' problem or issue, as I have attempted to view the site on different PCs at different locations & the logo is 'missing' from the same pages. Any help with regard to this query would be very much appreciated.

For a quick and dirty fix I suggest that you copy and paste this from your default page <p align="left">
<img border="0" src="gw_unofficial_logo_general.jpg" width="740" height="135" alt="The Unofficial Gene Watson Website"> over this in the vinyl 45 page <p align="left">
<a href="index.htm">
<img border="0" src="file:///E:/Gene%20Watson%20Site/gw_unofficial_logo_general.jpg" width="740" height="135" alt="The Unofficial Gene Watson Website"></a> You can prevent this happening in future by right-clicking the offending red cross and going into image properties to browse for the correct location of your image.

Caz Thanks for your response. Your helpful solution was just what I was looking for. Just a further query: when you say that it was 'dirty' solution, what did you mean? Is there a so-called 'correct' means of correcting this fault/problem? Anyway, thanks again - much appreciated!
