Hey All...

I just updated my IE to IE7 this morning and now I can not run any type of Java or Javascript! I even uninstalled back to IE 6 and it is still broken.. [:@].

Opera and Fire Fox run any Java perfectly. I downloaded the most recent Java from Sun and it's still a no go on the IE 7 side. Unfortunately for me my company wants to rollout IE7 across the board and we use Java, Javascripts, etc.. religiously across our intranet.

has anyone else experienced this?

I've not had a problem running JS (don't know about Java) via IE7 - stupid question but did you check the security settings? Maybe it was off by default?

Yeah.. I've been through the settings over and over and everything looks to be ok. Im stumped. I hate to reinstall XP because of something like this.

IE7 has a facility like Firefox to go look for add-ons. I had to do it for Flash even though it was already working in FF and Opera. Not tried Java, will give it a go.
