Proactive Project Management - 8/30/2006 12:39:07
When we take on a customer we have a number of tasks to complete for them and we involve a few people to do them. We can prepare Microsoft Project plans to list all of the steps. However, we are notoriously poor at remembering when things need to happen. We really need a way to have steps of the plan identified by email or somesuch (maybe like a reminder in Outlook). That way people will not miss deadlines.

Is there anyhting out there to add-on to Project or to adapt Outlook or just as a standalone application that might be able to do this?

Thanks

Steve

I use the lite version of Essential PIM but I think the pro version allows workgroups. Might be worth looking at.

There is another one I know does it but I installed it and it took my machine down. Despite their top tech guy calling me and going through everything we never got it to work and I've never been able to uninstall it fully either. Keeps coming back so avoid CT Appointment +
