Mango Himself Posts: 1653 Joined: 11/28/2005 Status: offline	help on a sale - 9/6/2006 13:45:33 Hi guys an existing customer of mine is almost sold on upgrading his website. When I created it, the site was one specific idea. As we all know, thanks to customer's interference and after two years of updates, changes, etc, the site is a little patched up. It wouldn't pass a W3C validation in any way. (not that it matters to the customer but it matters to me) I re-designed a new, more modern and W3C compliant example for their site. here's the deal: Although the customer and I have talked about an obvious payment for the upgrade, I want to have more elements than just saying the site is standard compliant, looks nicer, will allow for faster updates, etc I need the extra sales pitch just in case the customer asks me "and why do I really need an upgrade?" Are you using any accessibility techniques at all? If so, give him the disability discrimination legislation chat, and I've posted the figures quoted at the recent talk on accessibility that Tail and I went to.
