Photoshop Elements 3 Portrait Orientation - 9/20/2006 18:10:55
Thru 9/19/06. PE3 Browser opened my portrait mode shots in RAW from a Canon 350D in portrait mode. Starting 9/20/06, it began opening them as small landscape shots. When I click on such a shot, it makes a big blue portrait mode rectangle around the shot, but to get portrait orientation, I have to create a new file 2-3 times as large as the native RAW file.

I thought it might because I upgraded to Adobe Camera Raw 3.5 from 2.4, but going back to the old version doesn't correct this problem. I still seem to have Auto Rotate enabled on the camera. I can't find an "Edit | Preferences" choice in PE3 Browser that will restore the previous condition.

Can someone help by pointing out the incredibly simple thing I've overlooked to get things back to where they were?

TIA
jaybee

I think you'd be better off asking this question here. Although there are people on Outfront using PE, there are also many using other graphics packages. The Adobe forums will have the experts on your software.
