Frontpage 2003 install problems.... - 9/21/2006 19:34:49
I hope i'm in the right forum here. I'm trying to install FrontPage 2003. When i go to install it it says i need to have: Office 97, 2000 or xp to upgrade. I have Office Student and Teacher Edition 2003 but it doesn't reconize it installed on the computer or when it asks to put office in the CD-ROM it still doesn't reconize it. Then is says Error 1608. (it couldn't locate it)
Any help would be great!

FrontPage 2003 needs to validate a previous version of FrontPage (which was not incorporated in the Office 2003 suite of programs in any case).
The FP 2003 upgrade can validate against FP '97, '98, 2000 or 2002 otherwise you need to pony-up for the full standalone version of 2003.
