womble -> Need recommendation for PDA (9/25/2006 19:32:48)

Any recommendations for a PDA that isn't going to give me shed loads of grief? I'm just about ready to go back to my trusty filofax. [sm=tantrum.gif] [:@][:@][:@][:@][:@] I started off with an MDA III, which had a habit of doing hard resets at will and towards the end, despite being given a lovely new shiny battery, refused to give me any more than an hour or so of battery life. That got swapped for a iPAQ h6340 which fared a little better, with only a few minor glitches....until now. Tonight, when I tried to switch it on to check something, although the main battery was low, the backup battery was charged, the damned thing has done a hard reset and lost all my data which means I've got hours of setting the damned thing up again, reinstalling software (after spending ages finding the registration codes of software), restoring backups, etc. etc. I've well and truly had enough of this. No HDD combined with a sh1te M$ OS that's almost as flaky as the PC versions....just grrrr! [:@] Options: I either go back to my low-tech diary, or find something that's got flash memory/hard drive/is reliable Any recommendations? /Wombly stomps off and hopes she remembered to do a backup of her diary recently...
