Suddenly Plays Audio but not Video? - 9/27/2006 11:01:51
I run Windows Media Player 11 and Nero showtime. Both have been woring fine until recently. Now both will play a DVD or video file but only the sound is there, the screen is black. I've removed and reinstalled both softwares as well as the newest NVidia drivers but still no good. I've even "restored" the system back to 2 weeks ago and it still does not play the video portion of a clip? The video movies within games play fine if that helps any. Anyone have any ideas on this one?

Thanks for the reply. I have found it and all now works fine. It was the Nvidia control center, it had installed two monitors, one CRT and one LCD both 19"? I have a 19" LCD. I told it to only use monitor 1-2, the LCD, and the both players now display video. Go figure!
