1 Database, 2 Sites, No SQL, Frontpage - 10/1/2006 1:47:55
Greetings,

I am using Frontpage and I have set up a database on site "1". I would like to share the .mdb database with a form I am using on site "2". This would allow site "2" to post and retrieve data from the site "1" database.

I have read through many post and I found some info on registering the database from site "1" using the database add feature under site settings.

The problem is I do not have a SQL account and I have basic hosting on site "1".

My question is there a way I can call and post data to site "1" using a script string with my user name and password? Or is a different way that I can point Frontage at the database on site "1" which will allow me to add this to my list of databases under site "2".

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
Spooky

I would recommend against it - SQL is the preference.
Access is dodgy enough on one site much less trying to maintain connection on 2 :)
