Reflect -> RE: PLR Articles (10/4/2006 11:29:39)

I refuse to use these services as it's, IMHO, a new game for the provider to get PR and climb in the SERPs. They then sell ad space and make money on both sides. quote:
The whole topic about duplicate content is one I find fascinating. Just how do search engines determine what is a duplicate?quote:
You know if what he/she states in length on duplicate content then why would I hassle with taking a data feed from an affiliate program and buy another program to tweak it heavily? Just to give me a bump in the SERPs for original content? quote:
There’s nothing wrong with using PLR content, but you should be aware of just what you can do with it, the potential pitfalls if you don’t rewrite/tweak it and the amount of effort required to do so to a sufficient degree that it gets treated as unique content. So he/she goes on and acknowledges the issue. I would rather pay someone to write an article and have it carry more weight. Now if you just want it for filler and not worried about THE PURCHASED CONTENT to rank then I see no downsides. Again IMHO. Take care, Brian
