Spaces in files on servers - 10/5/2006 17:55:50
Hi guys a doubt: why is it that when uploading files of websites created in FP to servers with FP extensions the files may be in capitals or have spaces between file names yet, when doing it via FTP all spaces turn into % and files aren't uploaded?

Well spaces don't realy exist but when you enter it into a browser, you will see the %20 in there. And depending on the server, *NIX is case sensitive and Windows is not. I have not seen it change the case unless the server is set up to use like INDEX.HTML and not index.html as that home page.
