What do you mean by online calendar app? Somewhere for you to store your diary and access it online or a piece of software for embedding into a web site?

Scheduling software to put into your site like this.

I was hesitant to mention the one I use for my clients because I didn't want to present this like a commercial. I'm just posting this for clarification.

I needed something for clients who wanted to book a coaching session with me, and the only one I found that did this is

Availcheck.com

It's far from perfect (and it's really made for booking hotel rooms, not telephone sessions) but it's the best one I could find...

This way visitors can see when I'm available and book a session online right away

Does any of you know of other scripts / services that can do the job?

Thanks

Halina

As a simple soul, I like calendar.google.com because I can share the calendar and access it from anywhere. However, I would like to know of a script that would allow me to add a calendar to my wesbite for use by my visitors - one that would keep them coming back to read current articles and stories on my Author-me.com and its affiliated sites. I wonder if I can do that with the goog?

I've tried several and none of them have been exactly what I need apart from the Gig Calendar that plugs into Joomla, now that is a good calendar.

For non joomla I'm open to suggestions.

I recently had to find one for a client.
The client and I reviewed several and decided on the "BosDates web calendar". Works well for our purposes.

I believe you can embedd the Google Cal. on your site. Look for a script generation tool in the settings.

That's fine if you can remove the branding but no good for client sites.

This one is hugely popular with the guys on Hotscripts.

After a loooong search, I found www.trumba.com. The free version is highly robust. The paid version, more so and with less branding. Check out my live implementation here. Note the crawl, which fetches headlines from the calendar.

This one does a number of functions and looks good too. Easy to set up, not too expensive and works great with sql server.

Hi Guys,
Here is a simple, killer HTML calendar. It generates not one, but 12 monthly calendars in a few keystrokes that you can copy and paste to your page where you can customize to your heart's delight with your tables stuff. Put em all on, or one at the time. It's called HTML Calendar Generator™ 4.02. It's from DBH Software and the price is right. It's free. Go to one of my websites, Alabama 810 to see it in action, http://alabama810.com/ ... And then go to DBH to download yours... http://www.dbhsoftware.com/ ....

I use Digital Interchange and it will do everything from PayPal payments to sending out reminders for events that clients have signed up for. The console is very easy to use but the calendar is a little pricey.

You can view a sample at www.fbcspringville.com if you are interested.

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place and maybe what I've been looking for is classed as something different, but what I would really like is a nice calendar (some of these posted are very nice) that allows setting up events and users can RSVP/Register for the events and each event keeps an attending list sort of like is available on meetup.com.

Does anyone know of a calendar that will do that? Thanks.

David
