Reflect -> RE: How important is Google Adwords to your business? (10/11/2006 13:27:20)

I rely heavily on organic SEO. Taking time to build original content (not bought or recycled via feeds). Taking time to submit my site to other sites in the same genre. Working the "normal" on site factors. Slow and steady. Also think a network of sites. Start with one on one host. Make site two on another host. Both sites are in the same genre...interlink. Since they are not on the same class C network Google and others should not penalize for heavily interlinking. This will also give an instant PR boost. Taking this a step farther, make more sites in the same genre. Then point site a to site b (links), site b to site c, then site c to site a. Or point all to the "true" money making site to give it the boost. When purchasing a new domain buy it for two years or +. This will make an indexing difference in googles eyes currently. Affiliate program...Join in Share a sale or other third party affiliate management programs. Getting the program right can get a nice jump start on people pointing to you. Keep in mind there are costs and startup mistakes that can break this model and make your life he*l. Another thing that I read a few days back (not sure if here or not). Find an expired domain that existed for a while and ranked well. Get pages up ASAP, authority normally will ride for a while afterwards and is a very nice (and cheap) jump start. These are just a few things. Sorry to ramble, Brian
