Mango Himself -> embed not accepted by W3C (10/16/2006 16:51:25)

Can anyone tell me why <embed.. is not accepted by W3C? Any suggestions? It's the last warning in a very large site and it's driving me crazy. Thanks

You're missing the end tag </embed>

My dear jaybee,

I guess I don't leave my head at home because it is attached to my neck!

Could you tell me where it is supposed to be?

wmode="transparent"></embed></object>

I assume from that you're validating to HTML 4 and not XHTML.

You are, as always, correct! Old site being revamped.

Could you suggest a good XHTML validator while we are on it? And, you also tipped me on a great extension "copy to note" for FF. I can't find it, remember the name?

thanks

W3C just make sure your doctype is XHTML
