I want to make it so that when I hover over a spot, Information will pop up in a little box like on many other webpages. (Example: when I hover over the B for bold button a little box pops-up that says "Bold.") basically what i want to do is put a map on a page that has cities, production, gold values and when I hover over a city i'd like an info box to pop up that has the name, production, gold values in the "pop up". does this make more sense? Is this just a simple rollover or CSS or is there something I'm missing? I already posted this in the Beginner's Forum, but the response so far wasn't that helpful and it occured to me that this might be a CSS thing. dog

In theory you could do that but in practice I suspect you want too much in the box. Although it holds a lot, some of the browsers only show 50 characters. Your other option is a css pop-up but it depends how many you want on this map as to how complicated the whole page is going to get. Positioning them will be a nightmare. http://www.tjkdesign.com/articles/css%20pop%20ups/default.asp shows you how but good luck. Most of the maps that do that sort of thing are Flash based.
