Critique my site? Please? - 10/19/2006 8:14:49
I love constructive criticism! Please let me know what you think. I am by no means any kind of coder and bascially use Frontpage for everything with very little javascript. Here it is. Also, I'm looking for a way to keep the image pop ups, always on top so that they don't get lost behind the main site screen when switching between products. Thanks! http://www.carolinasfinegifts.com

The green is too dark, but that's only because of the white background. Change the background and you have a totally different site. Very nice images on the homepage, but you're missing alt texts for them. Please don't make that mistake.

Thank you for all the feedback! I've made some changes to the color and added page names, etc. Now, I just need to get sales!

I love your site. It's plain and simple with nothing to redirect the visitor away from SELLING PRODUCT. Oxman's Razor is true. Not sure what you mean about the pop ups though. How are you directing traffic to your site?

Thank you! We are not doing much to promote it. It is in Yahoo Shopping, but that's about it. I don't want to invest much in search engines because this is really just a hobby. Do you have any cost effective suggestions?

That's very strange. I don't get them on any other computer in IE6.
